dreamUp is an attempt to channel the emotional expression of the human soul through the circuitry of machines — to create an electronic musical experience that syncs the biological rhythms of the man with the machine.
75+ tracks built from analog synthesis, generative patches, and layered electronic composition. Some are performed live on Moog semi-modular synthesizers — voltage routed through unpredictable signal chains, no safety net, one take. Others are composed in Korg Gadget on iPad, stacking synthesizers, drum machines, and sequencers until something honest surfaces. Roland drum machines hold the pulse. No DAW. No overdubs. Just the attempt — over and over — to press something human into the circuits, and trust that it comes out the other side.
